On Saturday 27th May 2023, we had our annual Comber Historical Society Summer outing. We had glorious weather as we set out from Comber to visit the National Trust properties- The Argory & Ardress House in Co. Armagh.
We were welcomed by fascinating tours in both properties by fantastic and knowledgeable volunteers. Three tour groups were offered insights into the 'Big houses' of Northern Ireland and how the owners of such properties lived- right through from Plantation to Georgian & Victorian Ulster!
All agreed it was a wonderful end to a brilliant programme of talks in the 2022/2023 Season!
