On the 8th September 2022, the committee of the Comber Historical Society and friends were invited to visit Echlinville Distillery. We had a wonderful tour with Peter & Becky and where greatly suprised at the history of the estate and ongoing developments.
We were able to talk with Master Distiller, Graham, who explained to us the process of mixing whiskey as he was testing barrels. We also got to sample their signature served in Echlinville's very own tasting bar- what better way to spend a Thursday morning than sampling gin, whiskey, vodka & poitín! Indeed many of the group could be seen stopping by the gift shop laden with some liquid souvenirs to bring home!
